Rudy Kadlub, a 71-year-old weightlifter from California, has simply achieved three new world data in powerlifting. Weighing in at simply 222 kilos, Kadlub squatted 430 kilos, bench pressed 303 kilos, and pulled 518 kilos within the deadlift whereas competing on the Drug-Examined North American Championships held by the US Powerlifting Affiliation (USPA) in San Diego.
“Good day at USPA Drug-Examined North American Championships in San Diego,” Kadlub wrote on Instagram on Monday, sharing movies of his three lifts. “430 Squat, 303 bench, 518 Deadlift, 1251 whole. All World Data @ 71 years of age, 222lb physique weight. Now maintain all world data at 198, 220 and 242lb. weight courses.”
These had been all unprecedented lifts in his weight class, based on the Worldwide Powerlifting League (IPL), as was his whole lifted weight of 1,251 kilos, which earned him one other world document. However this wasn’t his first time on the rodeo: Kadlub started aggressive powerlifting 16 years in the past, on the age of 55, and has since set greater than 20 world data in his weight class.
